Breast Cancer Rehabilitation: Comprehensive Evaluation & Treatment

KickPink Level 1 Practitioner Certification

course summary

Become the 'go-to' practitioner in your area for people who have/had breast cancer.

Greater than 60% of breast cancer patients experience one or more side effect that can be alleviated with rehabilitation. Many of these side effects are preventable using an early intervention model at the time of diagnosis called prospective surveillance (which you will learn to incorporate into your care plan). Although prevention is best practice, it is not out of practicality - 'the norm'. You need to know how to manage and treat ALL of the short and long-term side effects of breast cancer medical intervention so that people can live an optimal life free from physical reminders of breast cancer.

After this course you will be versed treating post-surgical side effects such as core and shoulder dysfunction, stage 0-1 lymphedema, lymphatic cording, and post-mastectomy pain syndrome. You will know how to evaluation and treat common and rarely addressed side effects of adjuvant treatment including cardiotoxicity, peripheral neuropathy, fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, osteoporosis, joint pain, and sexual dysfunction.  You will also become a certified KickPink Practitioner & able to register for advanced trainings.

This course is the gold standard for learning the fundamentals of comprehensive breast cancer rehabilitation. Get the latest in breast cancer research and practical application for optimal patient care. Now it is available in a guided, online format from the comfort of your own home!
