FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Who is this course for?
This course was designed for rehabilitation practitioners (physical & occupational therapists) in mind. Many massage therapists specializing in cancer care are very pleased with the integration of this course into their practice. Exercise physiologists and athletic trainers who focus on working with people who have/had breast cancer will also benefit from this course.
I invite all oncology team members including physicians, nurse navigators, nutritionists, etc. to take this comprehensive course. It provides a framework for care during and after treatment to prevent and alleviate side effects that restrict quality of life. When we all come together for the same purpose (improving breast cancer survivorship) our collaboration provides the opportunity to understand each field's unique perspective, improve communication, and advance standards of care for people with breast cancer.
When does the course start and finish? What is the time commitment?
Course content will be available as soon as you purchase it! It has 16 hours of video content + section tests. Although it is self-paced, I encourage participants to take between 4 days and 4 weeks to complete for optimal retention and enjoyment.
